Council Launches a New Website

The Parish Council has launched its new website. We welcome feedback on the content and in particular anything you'd like to see added.

FEBRUARY 2023

East Anglian Green Proposals

The Parish Council are aware of these proposals and any information will be posted here on their findings and decision.  We have reported on the spring 2022 consultation and responded to some of the most frequently raised issues and questions.

We have also confirmed that in late spring/early summer 2023, we will hold a further non-statutory public consultation. We have made good progress and we want to share our emerging proposals at the earliest opportunity and set out our rationale for the preliminary decisions we have made to date. The consultation will also help to remove uncertainty for many people in the region.

We will seek feedback on an indicative draft alignment and ask if there is anything else we should consider as we further develop the project design. We will also publish a Feedback Report setting out the responses to the spring 2022 consultation and how they have been considered.

More information about the consultation, including dates and how to participate, will be published nearer the time. We will keep you updated and write to local residents along the route as well as stakeholder groups and other elected representatives. We will post updates on the project website and publish information in local newspapers.

Over the coming weeks we are continuing to liaise with landowners. We need to access land for essential surveys and are encouraging them to work with us to agree voluntary arrangements for access.
